Team 4 Meets

"i know, i was just trying to think up a plan." idaku said twirling his staff and slaming it into the ground, "steel creation steel spike!" he yelled and five spikes shot out of the ground hitting five moles in the chest, he had blunted the tips of the spike so he didnt kill them since they where allies but it was a hard enough hit that they dispersed. he kicked one in the chest and slammed another in the head with the end of his naginata. "get close, we'll watch eachother's back. the detection technique wont work with this much activity."

"right" Shinn batted another mole away then Shinn Formed severel hand signs then had some Rock spikes nail some more moles untill it was quiet and still then Shinn used the detection jutsu and he felt there wernt any more within his range "are there any in the imediate area" Shinn asked

Idaku activated the jutsu and stretched it, "a few more outside of your range but not much, get ready here comes another volly" he said coating the ground around them in a layer of steel, there was a thunk as a mole tried to burrow through

"hmm u need to chill out we have only been here for an hour or so and your breathing harder and harder just chill out i can handle ... " raises shield " THESE ONES!! " Shinn slammed his shield onto the metal ground and it caved in and took out a couple of moles then he took out a kuni and hurled it through another on coming mole "so chill out so how are we doing now are they gone for a while"

Idaku nodded, Shinn was right, he needed to conserve his energy if this was an all night thing, his uncle and mom always said he was a bit of an over kill type of fighter. he focused his chakra and searched, "yeah they retreated," he said sitting down in a lotus position and meditating. the metal on the ground started to pulse in and out with his breathing each time growing a little more up the walls and around them, "don't worry this doesn't expend too much of my chakra just feeds off of what we naturally give off. im creating a shell around us, if they don't come for a while i should be able to get upa a pretty strong one." he said quietly.

Shinn said nothing but leaned against a wall and closed his eyes he sat there litsening to the metal climb the walls and waited for somthing to happen.

soon enough Idaku had a pretty solid shell around them with air ways to the top even, "it seems sensei put us in the center of hte maze on the third or second level." idaku said but suddenly felt an S wave shake the ground under them then a destructive p wave shook the whole 'room' he had created, "crap they are attacking get ready." he said un ravling his whip and geting ready. a dent appeared in the wall infront of him and soon enough a mole as big as a bear busted through, and the light rods faded in to darkness. "fuck we're fighting blind i don't have time to make new rods hope you can fight in the dark. he said lashing out in the direction of the moles.

"i dont have to " Shinn threw up his two flares one at his feet another at Idaku's feet then he formed some hand signs "water style water shark bomb jutsu " 3 sharks came out of nowwhere in front of Shinn then the rock below him crumbled underneath him then the one water shark charged the giant mole and leaped into the air tackled it and exploded on it sending it away in a puff of smoke then the other two sharks triggerd by a proximity setting chrged another two targets and took them out "whew that took a decent chuck of energy out of me"

"we can't keep this up all night there has to be something more to this than just testing our endurance." Idaku said after taking out the last one to come in hte barrage. "I know our sensei, there is always and underneath the underneath with him." Idaku said in heavy breaths. he may ahve been one of the strongest users of his clans technique for a genin but his chakra reserves weren't much for long battles. And if the look of Shinn was anything to go by neither was he.

"well shit if tgere is an underneath an underneath we have a while to go we haven't even found the first underneath " shinn said "well this isn't very fun any more tell me wich way is out" shinn took out every form of explosive he had on him

"the easiest way is to make one, and it looks like you have all the neccisary things to make a cannon so gather all that up in a pile and ill make a bullet out of it." he said forming a metal shell that would function as the barrel.

"Don't bother there is only enough to make one decent bullet and that's only one wall I'll do it just point me in the right direction" shinn said as he gathered all of his bombs up

"i don't have the knowing eye, my clans doujutsu that can detect defects in any structure and exploit it, but from what i can sense with my earth chakra the weakest point is there." he said pointing to where he had set the sight of the cannon.

" i ment wich way is the shortest distance out" shinn said taking aim with his first explosive kuni "when i start we need to run through right away or rocks will collaps on it making it even harder to get out"

Idaku made the end of his chain into a grapling hook and nodded, "i'm ready the second you throw that kunai this will be right behind it."

"or i can just smash through with my shield" Shinn threw the first kuni waited half a second then chrged after it he raised his shield witch blocked the explosion that weakened the wall and Sihinn charge smashing through the wall with his shield

"works for me lets go" idaku yelled charging after his companion. he streatched out his chakra again and pointed up "there is the weak piont lets go

Shinn repeated the prosses over and over untill he was out of any thing explosive and they still werent out "its not over yet" "water style jutsu mass water shark bomb jutsu" Shinn used up almost the rest of his chakra and he got 5 sharks he sent one into the next wall and smashed through with his shield "holy shit this is tiring"

it's not right is what it is." idaku said witha growel, "i know his moles are stronger than this why are they holding back?"

"mabey he is saving up for a big onslaught near the end " shinn said as he blasted through another wall

"yeah, that's what i'm thinking, but knowing Taku there has to be more. what is it that we are over looking let me see that steel plate, i want to see which direction they have been forcing us towards." Idaku said starting to think up a plan.

"sure " Shinn said as he tossed Idaku the metal he slashed at a rouge mole and he released his water sharks so he would some chakra left then shinn took out 3 soldier pills and held onto them "so were is his trap waiting to be sprung"

Idaku caught the disk and started studying it with a practiced eye. they where pushing them towards the west edge of the platue. and most of them where coming from the east. "i know where he is. either some where on the east surface or o=in the caverns. that is where we will find our man." Idaku said heading down that directon

" ok then " Shinn said following

"ill go to the surface and check out up there, you stay down here and search the tunnels." Idaku said making a giant spike run through the roof of the cavern then retracting it making a hole he could go through.
