in the forge

Shinn grinned broadly " I'm gonna fly". Shinn said simply and looked at Idaku " it won't be usefull as a combat technique but for traviling it will be good ". Shinn said " but there is one problem it's going to tax the brain alot to go far distances at once". Shinn said " but I don't want go talk about it anymore untill I work it out so let's fight I'm bored". Shinn said as he stood up keeping his shield hooked onto his back left shoulder

"awe, but i dont want to fight come on lets go get some ramen." even as he said this he was clasping his hands behind his back getting ready to summon his naginata and sending a steel spike right under his team mate.

Shinn already knew wat was coming not because he could see it but because idaku was a terrible liar so Shinn charged towards him and leaned down low then lunged forward and up in an upper cut at his face then a quick kick to his hip then he leaped back and out of range then he threw up his two rods and tried to keep them both floating above his head but they wouldn't stay still, so he just held them in his hands waiting to defend against his attack.

the moment he saw his teammate charge he summoned his naginata and slammed it into the ground and jumped over him. he swung his naginata i nthe air hoping to cetch the edge of his friends shield to tip him over but hit the two rods instead. 'crap forgot about those.' he thought as he landed and bent down to sweep shinns legs out from under him.

Shinn stabed down at the ground to block the incoming sweep then he rolled over in a mid air somersault and land on tge weapon with his shield and forced it down and out of idakus hands then Shinn used the + negative control and pulled idaku towards Shinn as he swung his rods up towards his face with the same technique as Shinn rolled back and away from idaku

Idakujust fasnt enough raised a steel wal and slammed into it instead of the end of the rod. he crawled up the wall and jumped over swinging his chain as he did lashing it out at shinn. "that hurt jack ass!" he yelled swinging it right for shinn's ribs

Shinn spun 90 degrees so most of the chain hit his shield but the end wrapt around his side and hit him in the gut but shinn kept moving he jumped up then pulled himself forward in midair then pushed him down into a falling down kick at the back of idakus neck

"damn that hurt." idaku said into the ground as he was trhown all over the place by shinn. "but it's useless to pin me to the ground." idaku said sinking into the ground and rising back up behind his team mate. "earth style stone rampart!" he yelled stomping his foot down he created a pillar under shinn launching him into the air. he jumped up using a burst of negative chakra and slammed his head right into shinns stomach.

Shinn coughed hard and didn't breathe very well but he brought hiselbow down hard on idakus neck and brought up a knee to his face but stopped short and just threw him down towards the ground

"gaaaaaahhhh!" he slammed into the ground and was knocked out for a good thirty seconds. he woke up and sat, "my head hurts."

Shinn helped him up then grinned at him and said "its called critical targeting and i am very good at it" but shinn didnt explain further but looked up at the sky again "we need another mission ... preferably another escort i like those" shinn said quietly

"i over heard a meeting last night, no one is going to be allowed out of the village for a while, at least no one below high chunin." Idaku said standing and brushing some of the blood off his cloak. "i think it has something to do with that monster that attacked us. they said something about some sealed statue beginning to fail."

In the far far depths of Shinn's mind Idaku's statement had some kind of meaning to him but its importance didnt register to him so he just sulked and began moving his rods around in the air practicing he decided he would do this whenever he was doing nothing and also somtimes during training and while running "damn i need to go on another mission im bored"

"you're telling me." idaku said using puppet strings to play with some leaves and make them float and dance. "hmm" he looked up at idakus rods and slowly began chaning it to look like a snake about to bit it's master "hey look up"

Shinn looked up and no shock crossed his face " oh no a snake."shinn said dully he was feeling bored and just wanted to go on amission he really like meeting new people and protecting them but apperently he isnt allowed to even though they would be with a jonin "why cant we go we would be with a high level jonin woudnt that make up for us being high genin" shinn asked not really expecting the answer to make him feel any beter

"i guess but we have to wait for what sensei says" idaku said just as taku walked into the training field.

"hey boys got a special mission from the hokage, he wants our team to go on boarder patrol. be at the gates in half an hour packed for a two week trip"

"what about the no going out thing." Idaku asked

"since we have already encountered the enemy lord hokage wants our team to be on the front lines helping out, now get moving." he said disapearing in a swirl of leaves

Shinn grinned broadly it was his lucky day "i hope its a place with other people" shinn said as he stood up and left instently
