TO THE HOT SPRINGS! ((Non-cannon side quest, all welcome.))

Amaya stood before the mirror, tying together two pieces of fabric together at her left hip. Amaya always seemed to be a tomboy of sorts, never bothering to expressed the dimensions of her femininity unless it was through bitching at others in her girlish voice. However, in standing in her swim suit…one might have never noticed. Her swimsuit was a two piece, the top consisting of a white color with ribbons tying up and around her neck. The creamy skin of her stomach was exposed followed by her also white bottom piece which was covered by a long baby blue cloth tied around her left hip to form a skirt. Amaya leaned on a hip and crossed her arms, examining herself herself in the mirror with spiteful eyes.

“He’s nothing but a prick…an insignificant stupid prick.”

Tossing her nose up and twirling her flute through her fingers, Amaya turned away from the mirror and exited the room, heading towards the spring once more. A hand ran through her blue hair and she sighed deeply. “Maybe he is right through, this tense behavior is killing my muscles. I’m supposed to relax.” Amaya was in her own thoughts as she made her way to the pool not noticing the group of young males she passed until they made the most obnoxious whistling sounds. Amaya froze and started counting to ten in her mind.

Be calm…no tension…relax…ignore them…you’re trying to have a good time…

“Hey beautiful, why don’t you come join us by the springs and we’ll promise to show you a good time.”

Be calm….be calm…just reject them nicely...

“No…thank…you…” Amaya murmured under gritting teeth.

One man, however, was a tad persistent and placed a hand on her shoulder. “Come on, don’t be stingy, you’re here to relax right?”

Amaya slowly turned her head towards the specific male and smiled sweetly.

Moments later a scream would be heard followed by the male flying clear across the pools and out of sight, a ‘thud’ indicating that he had landed somewhere outside the springs. Amaya stared demonically in the direction she threw the man before turning to towards the others who immediately turned blue in the face and ran off.

Amaya approached the springs, dusting her hands off before relaxing a few feet from Aoiro. “You’re right. I should relax. I’ve never felt more at ease.”

Senko's ears twitched as he heard someone scream, his form lurching up as he once more instinictively grabbed for kunai or other ninja tools, only to once more find that he had none. It seemed that whatever being was trying to terrorize his vacation would have to deal with his fist as opposed to weaponry. Senko readied to push himself from his chair when his eyes fell on Amaya.... and it all clicked making sense... immediately.

"You've got to be kidding me?" A massive sweat drop dripped down the side of Senko's face as he shook his head in shame. "I can't believe I know her." His form falling back into the chair as he closed his eyes, only to half prop his right eye open to take another glance at Amaya. "Jeez if it wasn't for her attitude, she'd actually be pretty attractive." While Senko found her pretty freaking obnoxious, he had to admit that she was pretty hot looking. She had a nice body... but then again. Senko's head shifted over to take a quick glimpse at Rin, so did she. It seemed Aoiro at least got his wish.

Aoiro by now was very warm from the hot springs, and swam back to the side of the pool where his tea was located. As he grabbed it in his hands, he would see a man go flying by, followed by his scream. Aoiro thought to himself as he started to sip on his tea. “ Maybe it’s a new jutsu the kids are learning now a days? .. Who knows. “

His mind started to wonder as he sipped on his ice tea again. Then Amaya spoke, Aoiro turned around and saw her at the side of the hot spring. He suddenly forgot how to breath, and sucked in the tea. Which of course lead to Aoiro choking for a few moments before finally clearing his voice.

“ Uh. Hello, Amaya. Yes. I did.. Say that. Ease. Yes. You. Uh huh… relax. “ His form slowly sinking back down into the water, not even realizing the iced tea cup was still in his hand. He would keep sinking till only his swirling eyes would be above water. Just staring at Amaya.

The scream and thud of the man echoed through the springs, mainly due to the amount of water. Rin allowed a single hue to close, a wince crossing her visage. Why, when people screamed, was it so infernally high pitched? Well, the sight of Amaya made a brow raise, and the female nin couldn't help but to giggle softly, having pictured Amaya throw the man a good distance. Ah, ...such feminine rage. It was amusing, so long as it wasn't directed at her, she supposed.

"Oh, I doubt she's kidding. She looks very much serious, at the moment. Hell hath no fury and all." The pen was set aside, for the time being, and the scroll was rolled, placed to the side. Another sip of the cool water, and hues shifted to Senko. "Look past her attitude? I mean, isn't that what most of you ...boys do anyway?"

At Aoiro's floundering with Amaya, another snicker was made. Oh, that was awesome. And just another testiment as to why Kunoichi held Shinobi by the balls, so to speak.

Amaya quirked a brow at Aoiro’s reaction, not quite understanding what he was blubbering about. Instinctively she chuckled—Aoiro was always such a ditz. Upon watching Aoiro a little more intently though, she gradually realized that Aoiro was merely gawking at her body. She blinked…why was he staring at her like that? She was silent for a long minute, her cheeks slowly but surely transforming into a crimson tint.

“What the…..FUCK ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!”

Kicking her foot out, she hit the water hard and splashed the spring water directly into Aoiro’s face, hoping that her foot knocked him in the forehead as well. Standing furiously from her spot, her face resembling an angry cherry before she stomped away to a beach chair a good distance away from him. She turned her head away from the entire scene. What in the world was that?! For the first time in her life, she was completely flustered and didn’t know what to say. Slapping her hands to her cheeks and cursing multiple times, Amaya wished the redness would go away when it shouldn’t have appeared in the first place.

What the hell is wrong with me?!

All at once she felt completely conservative and overexposed, never having this issue before when a guy stared at her body. Crossing her legs and arms, Amaya suddenly felt like going back in her room and putting on a full body robe. This was ridiculous!

Senko eyes fully opened as he looked at Rin, his head shaking. "No Rin, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, beauty is only held within the eye. There is no use for beauty. I much prefer a strong, intelligent, calculating woman over a beautiful tyrant. I have no use for beauty, strength and intelligence.... those are usable sk...." Senko's sentence was suddenly cut short as Amaya began to scream at Senko again, his teeth clenching as his temper began to boil.

Suddenly dark chakra would radiate from his form, the malicious waves of onyx despair cascaded along the chair causing small burn marks to form on it. "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Senko's voice boomed out as his spiritual pressure exploded outwards carrying the fear pheromones with it. Spiritual pressure was a unique energy signature that very few people had experience with, this normally meant that when they did feel it their forms would suddenly feel hundreds of times heavier, their natural energy reserves would begin to deplete and their forms would temporarily be pinned to the grounds. The fear pheromones that were released resulted in the ultimate phobia like experience. It would cause blood pressure and pulse to increase as the individual enter fight or flight mode, 90% of the time it would trigger flight mode as terror and pure panic over took them. By coupling this two moves together Senko could ideally put someone under so much physical and emotional stress to cause them to have a heart attack. This jutsu was known as death Aura, while Senko had used it once before, it's release here was completely accidental.... and the jutsu would only last for a fraction of a second, along with the demonic chakra.

As the spirit pressure faded, the pheromones dissipated, and the demonic chakra was subdued, Senko found himself out of brief and barely able to move.... his mind feeling exhausted and strained....... his day was easily ruined.

Aoiro watched as Amaya yelled at him, His head rising slowly above the water, about to say something. But then he would catch Amaya’s foot in his face. It would lift him just above the surface of the water, as he skidded across the full ninety yards of the pool, before finally coming to a abrupt stop. Into the wall of the pool.

Where Aoiro crashed at, would bring forth a large erupting amount of water. Making water spray at a height of forty feet before it slowly came cascading back down. The pool of water itself would have a wave of water going back to the other side as a ripple effect.

Whatever Senko had just done, Aoiro had not felt it. Wether it be from the current pain he was in, or the amazing speed he was at. He just simply escaped it somehow. He did hear him say something though. But that’s the least of his worries.

He was trying to fight unconsciousness. And he was losing.

A nod was all that was given. Afterall, Rin could understand that viewpoint, everyone in her life was calculated out according to how useful to her gain of knowledge they were. Of course there was hesitation as the screaming began once more. As tempting as it was to laugh at the entirety of the situation, the sudden reaction of Senko was not so funny. It was downright fucking scary, actually.

And the sight of Aoiro skipping across the pool like a rock, made Rin second guess the strength that Amaya had within her thin body. Rude. But not so nearly as rude as what Senko had done.

Fear engulfed her, overflowing her form, pinning her form to the chair in which she had taken residence. Every bone in her body reverberated with the fear, and even if she had wanted to flee, she would not have been able to. Even as it receded, Rin shook from the exertion, feeling suddenly very drained of all energy, and she panted for breath for moment or two, surprised and shaken by the whole ordeal. Every horrible image ever imagined had passed through her mind, had beaten itself in until it felt as though she might implode. Wide, violet hues shifted towards Senko's form, apparently just as trapped, as he looked drained as well. If THAT hadn't piqued her curiousity, nothing would.

Amaya was immediately alerted at Senko’s little outburst, the waves, however, a tad too quick for her to react to it [not to mention how flustered she was at the moment]. As a result she released a sudden gasp, placing her hand to her chest and breathing roughly. All her thoughts about Aoiro flew out the window and she turned towards Senko. However…unlike Rin…Amaya got MORE pissed off. Her high embodied temper somehow placed Amaya in that minor group that initiated the fight reflex rather than flight. Despite the fact that Amaya seemed angry at anything, it was easy to tell when Amaya was pissed at stupidity and pissed as in she was ready to fight someone. Senko contributed to the latter. Adrenaline rushing through her body like no other, she had leaped from her chair, flute immediately drawn to her lips and staring at Senko with a malice that symbolized her desire to simply erase him from existence. What a perfect opportunity too. However, when she glanced to Aoiro to see if he was alright, her priorities completely changed.

She was a blurr across that pool of water and Aoiro would find himself within her arms before losing consciousness if he so happened to pass out. Embracing Aoiro as if he were some precious treasure to her, she swam with him to the edge again and pulled him onto land. She glanced down at him for a moment, examining his breathing.

“Aorio?” she asked shakily, the anger within her making her voice tremble uncontrollably. “C’mon baka, wake up.”

Should I gave him CPR?

She flushed at the thought before shaking her head and slamming her hand onto Aoiro diaphragm, causing whatever water that might have existed in there to force out….if there wasn’t any water, Aoiro would have a nice little bruise at least? “Wake up, baka!”

Sighing slightly, Amaya glanced at Senko, the malice returning to her face. Her anger made her irrational and she thought his wave had been the one to do this, not her kick.

“You’ve got nerve. Why don’t you try a little self control and tame that monster inside you, you call chakra.” Amaya could have been considered hypocritical but really was she? Senko could have killed them all with his little temper tantrum and it was far from acceptable in Amaya’s eyes. She glanced at Aoiro again and with a surprising display of gentleness, cupped his cheek in her hand.

“Aoiro? You okay?”

Senko blinked a couple times, Amaya was the first person he had seen who had a reverse reaction to such a technique, of course this didn't scar him. The simple fact was that his normal chakra was temporarily inaccessible, but if Amaya had been stupid enough to attack him, the demon chakra was still more than willing to come out and play, and Senko would have had no problem using it to destroy her. In fact he couldn't explain it but at this point his mood was absolutely foul. Anger was creeping through his blood as he contemplating calling out the demon chakra again just to put the female in her place. As his hands began to twitch and his desire for destruction started to peak, Senko suddenly realized what he was about to do.

He exhaled deeply as he forced his body to relax. His eyes closing as he found his own physical image standing within a poorly lit room.... across from him a grayer, paler, darker, version of himself stood, like a reflection. "Nope, not going to do it." Senko announced as he looked at this other.

"Aww, why not? It'll be fun, you know it will!"

"Nope, we're done. and I do mean that WE are done. So sit your ass down and go back to sleep."

"Fine, but one of these days this body will be mine.... you're corrupted, you are weak... and I, I am power."

Senko left his subconscious as he breached reality, his form coming to sit up, his gaze shifting over to Rin. "You alright?"

Aoiro began slipping in and out, before finally realizing he was out of the water, and in Amaya’s arms.

*Thud!* A loud a solid noise would be heard as Amaya slammed her hand into Aoiro’s diaphragm. Which in turn immediately brought Aoiro back to full consciousness, and forced him to start coughing water out. He rolled over in Amaya’s arms, or tried to if she let him, to cough better.

Placing both hands on the ground and his knees on the ground, he slowly tried to push himself up while coughing out water. After Aoiro was done coughing, occasionally giving the, “ I’m okay, just give me a moment “ wave. Then Aoiro stood up, slowly. After he reached a full standing point the looked over to Amaya, still a little confused that she was the one to save him.

“ Uh.. Thank you. Amaya. “ Aoiro said. Still a little confused… “ What happened? I can’t remember .. “ Aoiro said, placing his hand on his chin, but then immediately taking it away then placing the palms of his hands around his face.

“ Ow! Why does my face hurt this badly!? “ He yelled, lowering himself to a squatting position.

Panic had settled into the female, and though she felt the urge to go to Aoiro's side due to the fact that she was a med-nin, Amaya obviously beat her to it, and Rin was glad. Because she found that movement was very, very complicated. Her breath hitched again, however, at Amaya's comment to Senko, a gentle glare was offered. No, that kunoichi could be trouble. Senko was valuable to Rin, if need be, she'd put herself in the way of any attack.

However, at the moment the point was moot, as Rin was confined, and it took visible effort for her head to turn once more to Senko, hues fluttering to a half close. "I-I...don't know. I c-can't move. W-what d-did you do?" The med-nin frowned at the stutter in her voice, and visibly shuddered, optics allowed to close for a brief moment. "...Fuck." Was the last comment that left her lips, as she fought the darkness that had welled from the sudden burst. However, there was a bit of anger, for the first time, towards herself. To be flattened by that..no, training would be in order.

At Aoiro's yell, however, the woman started just a bit, at least Aoiro was okay, no one yelled like that unless they were fine.

A shiver rushed down her spine as Aoiro clung to her and she resisted the natural instinct to punch him dead in the face for holding her like that. Turning her head away from his coughing act, Amaya felt her cheeks beginning to redden again and the anger looming inside began to strangely settle. Her thoughts cleared and she took a couple of deep breathes before glancing at Aoiro once the question presented itself. Her cheeks returned to normal.

“You’re a baka, that’s what happened. That prick over there got all pissed off, unleashed some evil charka, and wore himself into exhaustion while your ass had to go and start drowning. I wouldn't have someone to bully if I let your ass kick the bucket,” Amaya grinned and playfully slapped him across his already hurting face. Despite the crudeness of it, it was the first time Amaya was being playful with Aoiro.

“Grow some balls, you’ll be fine,” she stood, placing her hands on her knees so she could lean over and look a tad closer at Aoiro’s face. “Though you’re starting to inflate like a balloon.” Amaya laughed at this and patting Aoiro on the head before settling on the chair again. She might of have caught Rin's glare, but it was ignored—she seemed more amused at Rin’s despair though--not because the girl suffered but because of the irony behind it.

“Great job prick, paralyze the girl. You’re a real charmer.” She closed her eyes and seemed ready to nap—somehow placated once again.

Senko forced himself out of the chair, his form slowly making his way from Rin as he looked back at her briefly, "I'll explain it to you later. Just take my apology for now." Senko took a step onto the water and then proceeded to make his way across the pool and over to Aoiro and Amaya.

"Well, Hime, lets not be a complete hypocrite here. How about you explain to your boyfriend that the only reason he almost drown was because you decided to kick him in the face. AND the reason you kicked him in the face is because you became embarrassed that he found you attractive and was looking at your body. And of course if you weren't so weak and feeble you'd know that what I did back there didn't produce enough physical force to send anyone flying, considering both Rin and yourself were closer to me.... but of course you are not even remotely close to being observant enough to notice such an obvious thing."

Senko's form moved from the pool and onto land, his form kneeling down next to Aoiro, his hand running over his friends face. "Jeez why is it that you can kick him so hard, yet you are absolutely horrible at being a kunoichi...." His head shook several times as he brought an arm under Aoiro's arm lifting him up. Hopefully Rin would be feeling better and would be able to help reduce the pain which his comrade was feeling.

“ .. Wait, what happ-AH! ” The light slapping across the face hurt beyond imagination. His form even more so shrinking into a ball like state while his hands were protecting his face. Then Senko appeared, taking in a few words that he said over the waves of pain that were shooting over him. He would of questioned it more, but that would mean he would have to open his face up to other people.

He slowly sat back up, and let Senko inspect his face, seeing that Amaya was walking away. His face was safe for now, hopefully. His face tensing up when Senko brought his hand up to his face. Which the tensing caused more pain then the hand. Aoiro stood with Senko’s help and slowly began walked towards their room. He was going to need some rest.. His jaw would slowly open, trying to guess just how much his face was broken.

The irony of being flattened by the one that she wanted to desperately to study. Yes, ironic. What was not okay with Rin, was the fact that she HAD succumbed to the wave. The panic settled within her, and it was despair that took root instead. Training, and lots of it, would be required. Already, mind was racing, though sluggish compared to the usual speed in which Rin was used to. Techniques and forbidden arts circled through her head, somewhere, in the midst of it all, she'd find the answer.

However, the movement of Senko caused hues to open once more, and the kunoichi forced herself to stand, shakily, but the violet hued woman did. Her figure moved towards Aoiro and Senko, hands raising to Aoiro's face, chakra glowing from them as she eased the pain Aoiro would feel, as well as some of the injury itself, but the damage done...well. No one flew that amount of distance with some skeletal damage, no matter who you are. Hues drew to a close as concentration was taken to stitch part of his facial skeleton. It was just a start, but a start was better than nothing.

Knitting the bones together took a lot of effort, and Rin withdrew her hands a moment later. "He's going to need more healing...but at the moment, it'd be best to have him lay down."

Pretty much after Senko said ‘boyfriend,’ everything else that left Senko’s mouth was blocked by her shock at the word—she didn’t blush though. In fact, if Amaya turned red it was because she utterly couldn’t believe that Senko placed Aoiro into the category of boyfriend.

WHAT DID HE SAY?? I’LL KILL HIM! I’LL DESTROY HIM!

“HE IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND!!!!! WHY WOULD I HAVE SUCH AN IGNORANT, FOOLISH, STUPID, WEAK, EGOTISTICAL, WIMPY, NO-GOOD, IRRATIONAL, DITZY, KLUMSY, PERVERTED FOOL WHO IS DUMB ENOUGH TO ACCEPT YOU AS HIS FRIEND AS MY BOYFRIEND!! TAKE IT BACK, YOU PRICK!! TAKE IT BACK! TAKE IT BACK! TAKE IT BACK!”

Whether her rant had gone under heard or not, Senko's very last comment, despite his others being ignored, struck a nerve and Amaya’s face fell for a moment. She glanced at Aoiro, watching at Rin finally regained her composure and assisting in Aoiro completely silent. Amaya turned her head away decidedly leaped across some of the rocks of the spring, sitting down on the other end and placing her flute to her lips again. She began to play a song.

It wasn’t that her feelings were hurt from Senko’s comment. She simply just didn’t have a comeback. And it sucked.

His face still felt like it was broken everywhere. Even thought it was probably just from the swelling. But either way, only one thing was on his mind. And that was sleep. Rin had walked over Aoiro noticed, maybe she was going to punch him in the face, and end this misery. Aoiro’s eyes closed as she got near. He was waiting for it.

But it never came, instead he felt a tingly warm sensation spread across his face. “ It’s something besides pain atleast.. “ Aoiro thought. When she was done, Aoiro slowly began trudging back to the room. Saying only the words, “ I’m gunna sleep, night. “

He slid in through the back door, and moved over to bed where his stuff was located and pushed it aside, then slowly laying face up ontop of the bed, drifting away to sleep.

“ Kraken! “ Aoiro yelled, appearing on a beach, holding his jaw, “ I need your healing… “

As Aoiro disappeared back to his room, presumably, Rin was content to watch him go, and instead her figure moved away from the group once more. Seemed as though a good time was ruined in a short manner. Heaving a gentle sigh, she was careful to place her pen and scroll up high so that they would not get wet, and her form moved towards the water of the pool. There was no reason she could see, to stop enjoying her time. Fingers brushed along the surface, watching the ripples that were the effect before slipping into the warm waters, one limb at a time.

Senko made his way from the room and back out into the open weather. His form shifted slowly as he brought his feet to the edge of the pool. His arms extended outwards and he fell forward belly flopping into the hot spring, his form sinking. He'd drift slowly at first, before speeding up and touching bottom. His image drifted a little as he floated along the bottom of the pool. Relaxation was found within solitude. Friends were nice, but sometimes the void was nicer.

Darkness crept across him, his form wrapped in the shadow of the murky bottom. His chest relaxed as he exhaled, the air purged from his lungs. Knees shifted to his chest as he brought his arms around them, grasping both of his forearms. A light current carried his form across the bottom, his figure rolling like a ball. Peace at last.

With Aoiro gone, Amaya fell to a quieter demeanor—the only sounds she produced were the melodies of her flute. Settled upon one of the rocks of the spring, she continued to play, idly watching Rin decide to join the warm water, and Senko finally getting the peace he desired. A thread of spring water slowly rose and created illustrious patterns in the air, guided by the tunes of her melody. Churning and bending around one another, the water conjured beautiful shapes of blossoming roses, flyingswans, and other soft creatures Mother Nature had to offer.

Her high from Senko’s outburst earlier till lingered slightly within her body and her fingers every so often trembled with an unconscious infuriated nature. She exhaled deeply through her nose and closed her eyes, the melody calming her more and more as she heard it. She did hope that Aoiro was not too harmed—she didn’t mean to hurt him to that extent—she was just shocked and flustered at his gaze. Amaya’s cheeks tinted red at the thought and she lowered the flute, the water falling back into the spring.

She exhaled again and slid into the pool, resting the flute on the rock nearby and sinking down her to eyes. Perhaps she just needed to relax and the thoughts would flow from her mind. Leaning against the rock, she fancied taking a nap in the warm water, emerald eyes shifting to a close to enforce her idea.

As the other woman intruded into the pool, Rin's head offered a cant towards Amaya. Though no words left her mouth, she was content to only offer the woman the thought of civility for the moment. Beyond that, Rin was unsure of how she felt about the woman who clearly had a very short fuse. On the other hand, a lot of kunoichi did.

A lithe, pale hand rose, to brush aside tresses that had fallen into her visage, and a contented sigh erupted from lips as she let herself shift some, disturbing the water. Ah, but it felt so good. A rare smile graced her visage as she chose to speak. "Tell me, Amaya, are you always so violent, or is it just to that man in particular?"

Amaya shifted her eyes open with an annoyed glint behind the irises as Rin decided to speak to her. Obliquely glancing in the nin’s direction, she contemplated giving her a yelling for talking to her while it was so obvious that she was trying to sleep. Then she thought about it a moment—she was rooming with this girl and Rin had somewhat healed Aoiro as well and she was grateful for that. Amaya closed her eyes again, at first seeming to ignore her, but in fact she was thinking of a way to answer her calmly. She never thanked anyone so she might as well express her gratitude by allowing conversation.

“Haven’t you heard?” Amaya opened a single eye at her. “I’m always this bitchy to people.” She shrugged her shoulders with a careless countenance. “Aoiro just pisses me off more than others so he can’t help but get the very butt end of the stick.” Now she opened both eyes. “Are you always this forthcoming or only to violent people?”

Rin noticed the annoyed glint, but refrained from commenting on it. While she was aware of what Amaya's wrath could procure, she was not without some reservations herself. And surely, this was no time to start a fight. Instead, she only offered the woman a slow smile, "Oh, I have heard. I know quite a bit about you, actually." And as creepy as that might have sounded, it was not intended in that manner. Rin was always studying, and those that might become potential enemies or rivals? Well, she studied those as much as she could.

A knowing smirk at the mention of Aoiro caused Rin to stifle a soft giggle, however, she leaned back a bit, to enjoy the rays of the sun as they beat down on the pool. "Ah, I am always this forthcoming." Violet hues seemed to spark, "Especially with people that interest me."

Slowly Senko made his way from the depths of the pool, his head breaking the surface just in time to hear the conversation. His form slowly pushing over to the two woman as he gradually rose higher and higher out of the water. His left hand moving out as he slid his finger trips along the edge of Amaya's shoulder line, his skin just barely touching hers.

"She's lying, she isn't a bitch to everyone, just Aoiro, it's because she has the hots for him."
